Audio Systems

The product lines available from DB Acoustics can provide a rich listening experience with easy to operate controls. You can choose to select from multiple audio sources and can have a different source playing in each zone.

We work with many vendors to provide a range of equipment needs. We will design a “best of breed” system that may utilize components from JBL, Atlantic Technologies, Audio Access, Electro Voice, Marantz, Sonance, Stereo Stone, Tannoy, and Triad.

Theater Systems

In the last several years, the concept of a home theater has expanded to include many options for "do it yourself" systems that are available from your local electronics store. The home theaters available from DB Acoustics are custom designed to meet your unique needs. We will consider your available space and will design a system that considers acoustical and light treatment as well as your use and living patterns. A room that is designated as a theater room has very different requirements than a room that will be used as a multi-purpose recreation room. We have designed systems for over 20 years, and will bring that experience and our lessons learned to design a system for you that will maximize your theater experience.

We have designed and installed systems in homes of over 14,000 square feet, and have also done systems in a more typical sized home. We have also designed and built theater rooms that double as conference/presentation facilities in assisted living centers, museums and other "dual-use" environments. We will work with you or your interior designers to create an atmosphere that makes you feel great. We can design systems with a "real theater" feel - luxurious theater seats, a magnificent velvet curtain over the screen - or a system that uses your existing furniture and accessories, or anything in between. We have worked with some of the most impressive cabinet makers in the area to design custom cabinets that can be specific to your theater equipment or that can simply be a part of your décor. The equipment can be visible or hidden - it's really up to you!

Shades & Blinds - Ambient Lighting Control

Automated shades and blinds provide an easy method to control ambient light.  The solutions provided by DB Acoustics can be integrated into your automation system, which means you have MORE control over your environment with a smaller set of controls and switches.

DB Acoustics can design a telephone and intercom system to meet the needs of your modern lifestyle. Multiple lines, interconnects, facsimile, and multi-path intercom systems may be exactly what you need to stay connected. While the system infrastructure (the cables, speaker wire, amplifiers, control and distribution equipment) is not the “sexiest” part of our product line, you can rest assured this very important part of the system will be designed to accommodate your future needs. If you choose to start with mid-range equipment and then to upgrade in a few years, this process will be simplified because we design systems that can be evolved as your needs change.
